Born and raised in Oklahoma City and new resident of Keller, TX, Steinkraus’s passion for video editing and sports led his way back home to attend OSU for it’s Sports Media program. During his two and a half years at OSU he worked for OState TV and Institute for Learning and Teaching Excellence as a member of the production crew. Shane also interned for the KOCO 5 sports team in Oklahoma City with Bryan Keating and Carson Cunningham. He would shoot highlights at sporting events and would edit and prepare their video content for their 6 and 10 PM shows. He also interned for the Oklahoma City Thunder in Video Production where he would shoot game and fan highlights, edit hype videos, and animate prompts for all LED boards.

Once I was given a tour, I instantly fell in love with the program and knew that this is where I wanted to be. I knew without a doubt, this university would lead me down the path to the best possible opportunities.”
