Hailing from the metropolis of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Henderson got his first taste of sports media by attending OSU's Sports Media Camp in the summer of 2016. His experience there was enough to lure him to Stillwater despite the wishes of his OU alumnus father. In his freshman year, Henderson began his multi-year journey working for the Stillwater News Press, covering various high school and OSU sports. In his sophomore year, he launched his own play-by-play brand on Facebook, Henderson Broadcasting. With Henderson Broadcasting, he has called football and baseball games live for Morrison High School, while amassing around 20,000 viewers in two years. Henderson has also interned during the summers of 2018 and 2019 with the Mix 105.1 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, where he hosted a radio show and live remotes. Along with those activities, Henderson has worked with Triple Play Radio in Stillwater, KRIG 104.9 out of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and the O'Colly. He also serves as an SMSC student ambassador, leading tours for prospective media students. Henderson looks forward to serving as the play-by-play voice for the Badlands Big Sticks, a college summer league baseball team in Dickinson, North Dakota, in the summer of 2020.

"I can't imagine where I'd be without sports media and OSU," Henderson said. "I've met so many great people in my time here and have grown my skills in play by play and reporting. Coming to Stillwater was one of the best decisions I've made."
