After graduating from Stillwater High School, Dunn decided to pursue double degrees in Multimedia Journalism and Spanish five miles down the road from SHS. While the decision to "stay home" for college was a tough one, she ultimately felt that of the 13 schools she had toured around the nation, Oklahoma State genuinely offered the best community, opportunities, and path toward her future. Multimedia Journalism allowed Dunn to combine her interests in current events, politics and writing. Now, as a senior, she has served as the Editor in Chief for the O'Colly, News Intern for NBC Affiliate KVOA, worked with O'TV and been involved in numerous other campus organizations such as Student Government, President's Leadership Council and Campus Tour Guides. OSU's School of Media and Strategic Communication gave Dunn the resources and space to grow creatively and professionally, as well as learn entirely new skills. Through OSU, Dunn applied for a news reporting position at the Tulsa World, where she plans to work this summer. Upon graduation, Dunn hopes to work as a Foreign Service Officer for the State Department or as a Foreign Correspondent for a national news organization.
