A native of Mesquite, Texas, Resendiz is in his second stint as a sports/news intern at KOCO-TV; the ABC affiliate in Oklahoma City. Resendiz started off his college career in print and radio before eventually transitioning to television. He began writing for the O’Colly during his freshman year, where he covered OSU equestrian and baseball. Resendiz is now involved in the broadcasting side, as he is an anchor for The Poke Report and The Daily O. He also was a co-host for OStateTV’s Countdown to Kickoff. This past fall, Resendiz worked as a co-host for the Orange Nation Sports Gametime show on the Triple Play Sports Radio Network in Stillwater. During his time at KOCO, Resendiz shot and edited packages along with producing and anchoring sportscasts. He also helped produce and edit the breaking news coverage of the coronavirus pandemic on the night the NBA suspended the season.
