Connor is the host of the Country Music Morning Show at KSUN-FM and the Afternoon Drive Show host on KYFM. Along with being the voice for Coffeyville Community College where he does basketball, baseball and football.
Harbit is a native of Nevada, Missouri, and a 2018 graduate of the Sports Media program at OSU. The biggest benefit for him in the program has been the connections he's been able to build and maintain. "Some of the professors I was able to meet through my classes have been absolutely vital in opening up opportunities to me, whether it was temporary work or my current job." He still keeps in touch with several of his classmates, and that's allowed him to get feedback on his work so that he can keep improving.
Connor leaves you with this piece of advice: "Get involved with anything media-related as soon as you possibly can. That can be anything, whether that's working for the O'Colly, KXZY, or somewhere you can get practical experience in what you're aiming to do. I was blessed to have family in the business before I even got to school, but my success in the industry after graduation has been due to the relationships and experience I've built and received while enrolled in the program." Harbit continues "Another thing would be to continuously get feedback from others, whether professors or others involved with what you're trying to do. You can't get better without knowing what you can improve on."
