Annice McEwan is the Sports Anchor and Reporter for WDRB Channel 41
Annice McEwan was born and raised in Seaside, Oregon. Her passion for sports started at a young age when she would spend weekend afternoons watching Seattle and Portland’s professional sports teams with her dad. Annice chose Oklahoma State specifically for its Sports Media program because she knew it was what she wanted to do. She spent the first two years of her professional career at WCIA in Champaign, Illinois. While there, Annice gained valuable experience in covering high school and college athletics. She started her position at WDRB in October of 2018. With just one professional team in the area, they spend most of there time covering Louisville, Kentucky, Indiana, and Western Kentucky – college basketball season can get pretty insane.
Annice's time at OSU was invaluable to her, not only for the relationships she built, but for the experiences that set her up for her professional career. She has no doubt that without the hands-on experience she got covering OSU Athletics, she wouldn’t have had any chance at success in broadcast sports journalism.
