Adam is the Play-by-Play for men's basketball and baseball at Oral Roberts University and the host of the pre and postgame show for OSU Football.
He grew up in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and was part of a major OSU family. Both of his parents, three of his grandparents and most of his aunts and uncles attended OSU. Adam first got involved in sports broadcasting through OSU's inaugural Sports Media Camp in the summer of 2007 and as soon as he left the camp he knew that is what he wanted to do for my career. Now Hildebrandt lives in Broken Arrow with his wife Carissa and their three kids, with a fourth to join them in May.
Graduating with a Sports Media degree from OSU was certainly beneficial for Adam, "I got great experience during my time at OSU that prepared me to hit the ground running in the professional world. Before I got to campus, Dr. McGuire told me that I can either be around the building a lot, work hard and be prepared, or I can just walk through and lack the full experience necessary to prepare for a career in sports broadcasting. From writing to the O'Colly to calling games through Dave's play-by-play class and the Sports Media Club, I tried to take every opportunity for reps I could get, and it paid off because I was able to get a ton of real experience that you can't necessarily find at other schools until perhaps later in your time as a student."
Adam leaves you with this: "Show up, be visible, ask for opportunities for reps, and when you get them, put everything you can into them. Because every written story or broadcast puts you one step closer to becoming the sports media professional that you aspire to be."
