Gideon is the host for the Thunder Radio Network and host for WWLS-FM The Sports Animal
He grew up and went to high school in Tecumseh, OK. His favorite broadcaster growing up was Bill Teegins, who called OSU football and basketball.
Gideon said that attending Oklahoma State University was one of the best and beneficial decisions he made: "The advice and knowledge I received from the leadership involved in the broadcast department helped for a smooth transition into my career, which began in 2003."
